- DRILLING REQUIRED — BOLT-ON INSTALLATION: Each strap mounts between the trash can lid and upper bin body for a fixed installation. Suitable drillable mounting areas and backside access are required so the included washer and hex nut can be secured from inside the bin.
- HELPS KEEP OUTDOOR BIN LIDS CLOSED: Designed to help reduce unwanted lid opening caused by wind, pets, raccoons, squirrels and other common backyard animals. The adjustable strap applies tension across the lid while keeping the locking point easy to access.
- QUICK RELEASE FOR EVERYDAY ACCESS: Open the side-release buckle when you need to add trash, clean the bin or empty it, then reconnect the strap after closing the lid. The mounting tabs stay attached, so there is no need to remove the hardware during normal use. Unbuckle before collection day.
